I want to be happy
I want to not be afraid
I want to heal from my past
I want to figure out a better future and how to get there
I want to make friends
I want to feel better about myself
I want a more fulfilling, less stressful, better-paying career

I have a LOT of things to work through to get there! It is going to take a while.

First, I am working on understanding and healing from my past by using books and independent study, and lots of writing things down and reflecting on them. I feel like I need to do that because it will help relieve some of the pain I feel and let me move forward.

I hope to check in here to see how I am doing on working on these goals.

I would appreciate any support or encouragement or advice you can offer!
Hugs from:

I am very pleased to say that I told someone "no" today! They were trying to wheedle me into doing something for them that I neither wanted nor was required to do, and would have been a challenge for me unnecessarily and put an unfair amount of stress on me.

Small victory, and it took me two attempts at it, but a victory is a victory and a step in the right direction!

Congratulations! Saying no is hard, especially with some people!
