So I am sorry if this gets somewhat confusing but here it goes...
Well I first I want to say it has been 117 days since the last time I cut I am really happy about that. I am a sophomore in college and last year I had a real tough time with everything in college and I started to cut again. The only people that know about my cutting in college is my counselor from school and a few other people. Well tonight was my best friend graduation from high school and I was invited by her! Well I wore a sleeveless shirt and my scars are very visible. Well my best friend father who is more to father to me then my old father and he saw my scars and asked about them, I told him them they were old and they were from my dogs. I feel so bad for lieing to him. Then at graduation I ran into my old assistant principal who knows about my cutting from high school and i told him i stopped in college, well he saw the scars and just looked at them and didn't say anything. I dont know what I should do?!? I am so confused

you are doing great!!!! well done on not SIing for so long that is wonderful

if you need to can you tell the father the truth? or can you just let it go as a thing in the past

Myabe you are reading too much into the look form your assistant principal - dont try to second gues what they were thinking - it could just have been - i am so sad I couldnt help you to stop then or should I tell her I used to SI? you dont know and you never will - if you can let it go - focus on the fact that you havnt SI'd for so long and that is wonderful
