I just found out the my psych doc killed herself just before the weekend. I am in total denial and shock and all I can think about is how to harm myself. I have had this pretty well under control but I don't know what to do. I have been going to the same person for about 7 years and liked and respected her so much. Right now I am just numb.

I may have deleted my first post by accident. My psychiatrist killed herself a few days ago and I just found out today. All I can think about is hurting myself in some way just to numb out. I don't want this but this is huge and I'm not sure I can cope.

((((((((((Holly))))))))))) Do you have anyone to talk to about this, to work through it? I'm sorry about your psych doc.
