*SAFE hugs* ONLY if wanted...

that sounds so terrifying need it to stop!

sometimes when i'm having disturbing thoughts at night, it helps to watch something safe on tv. sometimes after a while that works to distract me. maybe you could try that?

oh I am so sorry you had that happen last night..

it must have been a bad night for both of us..
I had nightmares all night..

dragon hugs if you want them..

I also understand the urge to do that also..

Like I said in general I think I have been gone a very very long time and now that I am back I need to start healing myself again, and getting more open about what is buggin me and hopefully helping others agian.

(((((((((((((( dragaon hugs to you )))))))))))))))))))))

Kathie, that sounds horrible to have to deal with. I have to agree with Angela. I turn on the TV to try and take my mind off the uncomfortable thoughts, too. I know, I know, bad sleep hygiene, but it's better than getting worked up into a panic, or worse, because your mind won't shut up.

(((((((((safe hugs)))))))))) if you want them.

((((((((Kathy))))))))))))

How is it today? I like the idea of watching something safe on TV, or maybe a book that's comforting. And make sure to talk to your T or pdoc and get their recommendations. How do blood or bruises help? A distraction? Does it help you to disconnect from those images, or reconnect with reality? Maybe if we knew what that helps you with, we could think of some other ways to accomplish it.

Kathy, I hope you can find something to do to help. How about coloring? Is that something that everyone could enjoy right now? (Heck, I'm 43 and I still like coloring )

That's a good idea, Kathy. Anything that you like to do would be a good strategy, particularly if it's constructive or creative, or lets you see some good results somewhere.
