My leg, where most people wouldnt see.

Bf came over and bandaged it up, but it doesnt look good, he said it should have been stitched. Its healing but what else can I do to help it along? I CANNOT go to the doctors, it will cause issues with my custody case.

Rainbowzz,

I'm sorry that you felt you had to cut. I have done it myself many times, but it never changes anything. It's all still there, dammit.

I'm not a health care person but I think there is some window of time when getting stitches is ok and then past that they won't do it. But like I said I'm just an everyday person, not a health professional.

I imagine this episode of self injury would not go well for you in your custody battle. Whatever you do, do it with your sweet boy in mind. Take care 'bowzz.

Steri-strips are good for closing up wounds. Keeping it clean and protected. Also keep an eye out for signs of infections.

Not that it helps any, but I've done some really deep cutting on my stomach (can't remember it but I have the scars). They obviously weren't treated in any way, and healed fine.

For when they start to scar up, I've found that coconut oil is good at helping them get soft and faded quicker.
