Death-pain-suicide-life. These are the things that I struggle with everyday and my only release is to cut in places that can't be seen. I am supposed to be able to help people with things like this and I can't even help myself!!I disgust myself!!!!!!!!

Your first priority should be to help yourself, then others.

So what you are teaching others does not work for you? Perhaps it is not working for them either. I suggest professional help and maybe try helping others with something you are good at. I bet it would feel good to do that.

Me, I'm sorry that you are struggling. Are you in therapy? I noticed on your profile that you said usually you can cope but lately it has been hard. Do you understand why it changed? Do you have support IRL? I'm sorry that you are upset with yourself.

I am in therapy, have had my meds changed several times, have done emdr, and have had ECT. I really have tried everything I, as a Socialwork Assistant know to do. I do not understand why it has changed. This is SOOOOOOOO frustrating!!!!

(((blameme)))) maybe try a little tenderness? with yourself? feeling so angry/anguished/upset sometimes keeps me in the cycle of destruction. Sometimes i just have to accept it for what it is and 'worry about that later' when i'm not in the throes of being horribly upset. sending you positive energy and kindness....
Thanks for this!

I do show tenderness to my children, my friends, and others I work with, but tenderness for myself? how?why? I don't know if I know how to do that. I am the nurturer not the nurtured. That's how it's always been.
