Today was the first SI in about 7 months. I couldn't help it. Nothing major, just enough to get a release from the pain inside.
The anxiety, the frustration, the....Bipolar. It just makes everything so bad and the SI helps a little, even if just for a short amount of time.

Sometimes, I hate to admit it, I do it for attention. I didn't this time, but I have in the past. You know, the need for someone, anyone to see you are hurting, but you can't tell them what you have done.

I don't want ANYONE to notice this time. I am trying to cover it up. It isn't working.

Dang it, I hate this!

((((((((Onlymedid)))))) i am glad it was "nothing serious" and that you are ok. I've not seen you in a while and I'm sorry things have been rough. I feel i can understand where you're coming from - I've been fighting it too a lot lately; the only things keeping me from doing so are my continued art classes (can't paint in long sleeves easily, massage therapy where she'd clearly see what happened, and that I am supposed to be "doing better" in group t.
I hope this time passes for you soon and you will be able to use non-harmful coping skills.
hugs!

Hey Kiya, I have been dealing with a LOT the past few months and haven't been able to get on here, but I have missed it!
Thank you for sharing and caring. I should try to draw, I just am not very good, so I get down on myself for it. My T thinks I should do it more, too.

as for drawing - I'm now under the tutelage of a woman whose philosophy is "there is no such thing as bad art. Art is a skill, NOT a talent; if you can write, you can draw - talent is what you do with the skill. Draw like no one will ever see your work. it is only for you." She even brings in all her "bad art" to show us =)
This helps me get out of the anxiety of it too.
((((((((onlymedid))))))))) missed you!

Thank you, Kiya...I missed you, too!
My problem is, with my drawing, is that I scrutinize every little bit. If it doesn't look, on paper, as it does in my head, I get frustrated. I think I will try it again, though. I like writing, too. Maybe a little of both!
