i have a relentless urge to self harm and i don't know how to stop these urges; they don't go away they just wax and wane, but are always there and I'm afraid that soon when i can't fight anymore I'm going to do lasting damage(really harm myself bad). I could just cry, I just want it to go away.

Best way is to go for a run, speed walk, or do a bit of yoga. Just somethign that get's the heart rate up. Also talking helps too. and if you still want to self injer the run a bit faster or streach a bitt further. But i don't advice it all the time, just when it gets the worst. Best of luck to you.

SM, the only way for these urges to go away are dealing with the issues that are causing them. Are you in therapy?

i am in therapy but that doesn't seem to do much, lately it's just been too much to deal with anything and my moods have been all over the place and hard to control and honestly just giving into the urge is just easier but i am afraid of the outcome if i don't stop or at least slow down
