I've been dreaming about SI a lot lately. It's really aggravating me. The first one this week, I seriously wanted to cry when I woke up, and I was so triggered by it! I just wish I could stop dreaming about it. The dreams make it harder to NOT SI... I don't see T for another week. I don't know what to do...

I don't even know what I would say to her if I did. I have so much trouble talking, especially if its over the phone where I think someone may be listening.

I may shoot her a message, email her or something. I don't know. I feel like, if I try to talk to her outside of the office when I don't have an appointment, I'm just bothering her.

email would be good. Has she discussed contact outside of appts? A lot of people contact their T between appts.

No, she hasn't said anything about it. I know that a lot of people contacts theirs between appointments. I just feel like I'm a bother when I do things like that.

This kind of thinking comes from a dysfunctional family? This is what happened with me. I had a narcissistic mom who couldn't be bothered with me so I felt that whenever I needed attention from anyone that I was being a bother. I have worked past this and now I feel that I deserve attention too. It is normal for us to give and receive attention. It really is amazing how such things affect us.
