I am having almost uncontrollable urges to cut right now and I don't know why. It seems as if feeling the cold blade against my skin, the blood, and the pain that it represents is all that I think about anymore. I feel as if it has taken over my life, all that I want to do is cut away the pain in my screwed up life.

I know this advice may seem kinda crazy, but get and read the big book of alcoholics anonymous. You'll be amazed at how much it applies to your life. And get in a twelve step program. I've just started going back to meetings and had completely forgot that where I am is only from working the steps.
