Tomboy, my mom is really annoying too! I know exactly how you feel, please know that you are not alone and that there are other 15 yr old girls out there who don't like their moms so much (e.g. me). I don't know what else to say, please take care!

So you are talking to your T about these triggers?

((((Tom)))) I stayed in due to triggers...and my mother would put me down for it when I did. She could never grasp the fact that I felt safe there. Nor would it occur to her that she had any responsibility in that. I hope you will be able to talk about this with your T so you can find some support and relief. Hugs to you.

I stay in too; I mean, I go out for work and such, but if I don't have anything after, it's straight home for me. And I still get crap for it too from my mom and I don't even live with her anymore!!

You're not a failure. Just a person who has some challenges... just like the rest of us. You may want to try and find a comparison that your mom could understand that being away from her is helpful for you.
