I rarely ever get angry. It's a very scary emotion for me. And mostly because every time I do get angry I get very horrible self harm thoughts or even suicidal thoughts. I can become sort of passive aggressive, without wanting to self harm, but if I confront somebody straight on about an issue I don't like, I become self harmish. Does this happen to anyone else? What/if did you guys do to help yourselves? Did you ever find out a reasoning?
Thanks for this!

It's the same with me.
I fear my own anger, and I can't accept it. Any kind of confrontation though, and I feel the urge. My anger is turned inwards- that's the only reason I could find...

It makes sense to me that anger could cause SI urges. I hope you are working on anger in therapy?

As far as anger goes, I know that my hardest time for me is when I feel angry at myself. I feel like I deserve it, for all the stuff I put my family through. I guess that is my reasoning, I know it's not logical, but I have slipped a couple times recently anyway. I don't know if that answered your question? I don't really know any tips on how to not let it happen because the times that I slipped my body just kinda took over, and it was like I was watching me do it.

Hugs to you!
