I don't wanna grow up. I get stressed out with stuff I have to do now and it's only gonna get worse as I get older. I hate thinking about the future. it's like this constant dread... I just wanna cut myself, distract myself...

I need to follow this advice too, but I was just trying to think of any way to help...is there maybe ONE thing, just one, that you could find that would be good about the future?

Even if it is something like, you'll have your own place, or you're gonna get a big/little dog (or a cat if you are a cat person, etc) ? I don't know. That's what I'm trying to do...I want a German Shepherd, so that's what I'm focusing on. Might be a stupid idea, though, I don't know. I really like thinking about how protected I'll be if someone tries anything, lol.

Living in today is the way to go. Living in tomorrow causes anxiety.

The good thing about the future is that usually when we get older we have more control. For me this is an exciting as well as daunting prospect. You can live where you like, decorate how you like, invite over whoever you like, get pets if you like, in short - do whatever you like (within reason of course, adulthood also comes with responsibility). I think some short term goals might help you feel better - i don't know your precise age or whether you already know how to drive but if not this could be something worth aiming for. What about going on holiday with friends or going travelling? Sorry if ive not been helpful - hope you feel better soon.
