i started si again recently. idk why just pain. wanting out but not wanting to hurt others. think i deserve to suffer more than the people who would hurt if i did something stupid. so i suffer because i'm less important, mean less, worth less.

I'm sorry that you're feeling like this and that I don't really know what to say . . .

Why do you think you deserve to suffer and feel that you're less important than others?

From what you've written it appears that you really are important to others, as you've said that people would be hurt if you "did something stupid".

Also, you want out, but you don't want to hurt others, so there must be people who you care about and who care about you.

It sounds like there might be someone you could ask for help. I hope you're able to.

No one should have to suffer. If you saw another person injuring someone else, would you think that was right? Everyone has done things they regret doing or doubted themselves at times. That doesn't mean they should punish themselves repeatedly and believe they are worthless.

Something has caused you to believe that you are not as good as other people. If you don't know what it is, or even if you do, you need to get some help from a person who deals with those who cut. Any professional who works with people like you knows that the self harm comes from inner pain. They aren't going to think anything bad about you. SI is an addictive, progressive behavior and the longer it goes on, the harder it is to stop. The fact that you have come here says that you want help. You don't want to feel like this anymore. You are strong enough to pull yourself out of this. There is another life out there for you and you deserve to live it happily.

None of you get it. The point is that people think suicide is selfish. If I do that and cause other people to hurt it means that I'm selfish for wanting a permanent solution to my pain.

That means that me being in pain to stop from causing others pain is the point. My pain is worth less than their pain.
