Christmas is bad enough, now my sister had to put her dog down today. I loved that dog.

I can't stop the tears. I've been keeping them back, staying "happy" for the sake of my kids, but now the floodgates are open.

I want to si. I need to make the pain go away.

Put a rubber band on your wrist and flick your wrist whenever you feel like you need to SI.... that's what I do....

It's okay to cry. Nothing to be ashamed of. You can teach your kids that it is okay to feel something when you are sad, or to feel other emotions too. SI is one way we try to switch emotions off. If you teach your children that you have to keep your emotions back, they will also need ways to switch them off, like SI, drugs, eating disorders, ...

I am sorry about the dog. Dogs have a way of making you love them. It's what they do best. They are wonderful creatures, and should be mourned when they are gone, as any other friend or family member.

The pain will go away if you allow it to come. The only way to guarantee that your feelings will stay with you forever is to not let them come out. If you allow them to come out they will pass.

Christmas was horrible, for a few reasons. I wish it would never come again.

Still having times that I want to SI, but not as bad as it was
