Some of you may know I had a panic attack last night and I slashed up my leg pretty bad. The cuts aren't deep, but there are sooooo many! They burn A LOT!

How do I stop the burning? It's making it harder to focus in school because of the pain. I just kept thinking about them. And I'm worried about what will happen when my mom sees them. They are bad. They cover most of my upper leg.

How do I stop the burning?
How can I cover them up?

you could try to put neosporin or topical medicine to help heal them and reduce the pain. maybe it is also a good idea to tell your mom... it doesn't have to be that you cut, but that you need to talk to someone about stuff. hugs

Take rice, put it in a plastic bag and in the freezer. When you put it on your leg it should take away the pain. There are also ointments, cleaning with peroxide numbs it for a little, if you can use your bathroom at school you can put it on there too. Lock your doors when you shower, and change. For gym change in a stall.

lanocane helps, but I find the burning and sting helps keep it away for a while... please go talk to someone, even if it is just a hotline...
Thanks for this!

Thank you. And don't worry... All my doors are sealed shut after what I did

It doesn't burn anymore, but it is like a HUGE bruise. It will randomly just hurt though. It is very distracting during school. I throbs and pounds sometimes... I'm so tired of it. I wish I never did it.

Can you get cooling patches? So you can wear them at school.

I'm allergic to the adhesive. (Band-aids, Icey hot, stickers, ECT)

But if help to clench something really hard. I usually keep a stress ball or something that won't break so I can beat the stuffing out of it when needed.
