I had a lapse last week I was really proud because over the past year I have been doing well with not self harming but recently I have been under so much pressure. I've been struggling with working through trauma in therapy.

I'm hoping this will be another one-time slip. Haven't done anything this week.Haven't told my T about this though... I am afraid she will be disappointed in me.

It can be a one time slip up. Don't beat yourself up over it or feel like you deserve it more. You were under stress, had difficulty using better methods to cope and slipped up. It doesn't mean you are bad or need to regresss. You made a mistake, and the goal is to learn from it and move forward. Good luck and take care of yourself.

slips happen... take it as a detour... not backtracking, but just a little detour... don't beat yourself up about it, and i'm sure that your t will not be dissapointed.
