My first reaction to being upset or mad wasn't to repeatedly punch myself in the head. I did it the other day and now I've got this huge bruise and bump on my head. I say I walked into a door or something..I make it up as I go along. It's not even a conscious thing I do, I don't say to myself "Ok, you're upset let's self harm".
My immediate reaction is "you're bad" and I punch myself before I even realize what I'm doing.

Kinda the same here.... But I do more on the top of my head (not visible like forehead or side of your face).

And sometimes I have to do it (yes HAVE to do it) to regain focus or to shake off worse ideas.

I can totally relate to the punch anywhere thing. Same here (but my head is the normal place for me).

And I own THREE mini-doxies. They are awesome.... UNTIL one of them starts to bark - then all three of them start it and two have no idea why they are barking.

I am so jealous, I want so many more of them. My mini is the same way because we have a much bigger dog as well, a lab mix. She starts barking out the window and then he gets going even though he's too small to even know what she's barking about! :P

Yes, they are great yet incredibly STUPID animals sometimes. But there is no better tap-dog and LOYAL dog that I can think of.

BTW - "try" not to punch yourself.... you are young and have tons of good things waiting for you. Punch the morons who annoy you instead.
