Well, as a few of you may know, this school year has really beaten me up. I mean, I think I've always been kind of depressed before, but this is the first year that I really considered myself severely depressed.
I had been struggling with many SI and suicidal thoughts, and have been regularly self harming. Well today, I completely lost it. It was different. I completely lost myself and hurt myself 10 times the amount I normally do, and that isn't an exaggeration.
Now, along with just having one kind of SI, I'm now engaging in two, and on the edge of three different forms of it.
I just don't know what to do anymore, I feel so numb all the time, yet I cry way too much for someone like me.

Hey.

First know there are people here for you, even when you feel alone.

I SI as well, and it's about the only thing that takes away from the internal pain and struggles. But in the end, I feel awful.

I was cheated on by my fiance and was used by a bunch of guys shortly after the breakup. So you could imagine how unwanted and unloved I am/was feeling. The important thing that you need to start doing is learning to love yourself. Because when you love yourself, you don't need anyone else you love you.

What do you mean you cry too much for someone like you? Tell me your hobbies, interests, your major?

If you felt numb, I don't think you would be cutting. I think you feel pain. And lots of it.

I know this is cliché, but try therapy. If one therapist doesn't work, try a new one. If that one doesn't work, try another still. There will be one person you are comfortable talking to. If you have any close family or friends, their support could mean the difference between life and death.

Either way, you have us here. We are all going through it. We are here to help.

Mandi

Is there anyone you can talk to about what you are experiencing? It can sometimes help just to have someone neutral who can listen and try to help.

Try to take it one day or even an hour at a time if you are struggling. I know it feels hopeless now but it will get better again. You can get through this
