So I got into the residential facility after my T pulled some strings and used her connections for me. one of the admission criteria and rules is you can't have self-harmed recently (Its been 3 weeks!!!!!!!) If I self-harm I could lose my bedroom, and I have to move in monday.
However my urge is so strong right now. I now know I am addicted, I have had urges the past 3 weeks but I am feeling on edge tonight. It's a need to punish more than anything. Ugh this is so hard, help? |

Oh it's not a hospital I'm going to. It's like a boarding house, basically you're being babysat for however long it takes you to graduate to the next level which is your own apartment with people stopping by then you graduate to the next level which is no supervision. I get to live with 12 strangers plus staff! All the staff are long-time friends with my T. Ick.
I mean its basically a psych ward you can leave during the day (So long as a staff member goes with you). But you have to be back at ten or the alarm goes off. |

Are they actually gonna be checking you for signs of SI? If not then they don't need to know... I'm sorry you gave in

If it's anything like psych hospital, then you might end up having to strip or be checked or something. I really hope you don't have to. But be prepared.

I'm sorry you have to go through this - I agree with CantExplain. It is very odd that it is a place where you can't admit you are struggling. It seems quite unrealistic for someone to just 'stop' like that Will you get to talk to your T before you start? It sounds like it might be a good thing to discuss with her. |
