I've had it since I was about 10. I'm 16 now, turning 17 in late December. Only with my eyebrows and eyelashes since the beginning. My trich reached it's peak in 7th or 8th grade. I went on Zoloft early this year, and that seemed to help. I stopped pulling at my eyebrows entirely and have had normal brows for a few years now. My eyelashes have always been in various states of regrowth, but not too noticeably as of late, until I relapsed pretty badly last night. I'm missing maybe 25% of my top lashes on my right eye from 30 minutes to an hour of aimless pulling. I'm upset, but not totally demoralized. I'd say the Zoloft and giving my condition time to play out has helped me overall, though.
