My sister feels like she has to be told every little thing. Today she wanted to know why I didn't do the dishes from yesterday. She says "don't let this get to you" which instantly raises my defenses. And I feel like I'm on trial. The part she doesn't realize is I was just keeping my self safe, as best I could. What she doesn't know is about the si. There are only two people that know. And that's how I want to keep it.
Anyone have any advice if it comes up again, kind of a work around type thing? |

Hi puzzclar, Be careful don't let your sister trigger you too much. I would just keep it to small talk and to the point answers. And please try and stay calm, I know it's hard, but I think you can do it. We are here for you. I hope this helps ya a bit.

True. I was not calm so I asked her to stop talking, which she got mad about. I hate it, when my family uses anger and doesn't call it that. She said that she was hurt that I couldn't trust her to tell her what was going on.
![]() Her actions hurt me, enough that I don't want to be around her. Any advice for how to keep it from her without hurting her? |
