My sister feels like she has to be told every little thing. Today she wanted to know why I didn't do the dishes from yesterday. She says "don't let this get to you" which instantly raises my defenses. And I feel like I'm on trial. The part she doesn't realize is I was just keeping my self safe, as best I could. What she doesn't know is about the si. There are only two people that know. And that's how I want to keep it.

Anyone have any advice if it comes up again, kind of a work around type thing?

Hi puzzclar, Be careful don't let your sister trigger you too much. I would just keep it to small talk and to the point answers. And please try and stay calm, I know it's hard, but I think you can do it. We are here for you. I hope this helps ya a bit.

True. I was not calm so I asked her to stop talking, which she got mad about. I hate it, when my family uses anger and doesn't call it that. She said that she was hurt that I couldn't trust her to tell her what was going on. Its the fact that she would judge me because of addiction and related si. And then today she acts like nothing happened.

Her actions hurt me, enough that I don't want to be around her. Any advice for how to keep it from her without hurting her?
