Everytime I help out a person around my neighborhood I get used and hurt. I am not helping anyone anymore. I am sooo glad I am moving out of this hell hole next weekend! My neighbor and her family would have starved without me. When they moved in they had nothing. (So they told me and I thought) I gave them stuff I no longer needed and food and let them borrow stuff which they returned( Oh I mean I had to go get) broken. I don't have a lot of money or stuff my self. Why do people always use me. I am about ready to call the police because she needed yet another ride in my car which she offers no gas money to go to a store. I find out after the fact that she wrote a bad check and knew it. This was not the first time either. I have a child and family. I can't believe that she had the nerve to put my freedom and family at risk. I could have been put in jail just for giving her a ride. Today I found stuff that they needed so bad in the dumpster. I was pissed. If she did not want it I would have taken it back and donated it to parent aid or something. They say they have no money to pay me back for the money they borrowed but I saw them dressed up all nice going into a restaurant with a dress code (not cheap) Thanks for letting me vent!

Sometimes I think I have the words "use me" plastered to my forehead too. Sorry about your neighbour - sometimes people do that quite frequently for no apparent reason. I'm glad you're moving out, it's got to be stressful living in that sort of situation.

It is too bad when some people take advantage of others generosity. You sound like a very caring person and have reached out to them. It is too bad that they have not treated you well for it. Maybe it is good that you are leaving and will not have to contend with this anymore. I hope you don't give up on people because of these people and their actions.
