I've recently started head banging when I'm upset, it got so bad the other day at college that I had to be physically restrained while the ambulance came, I then calmed down and refused to see them, I need to stop but I don't know how, help?

This article helped me cope with the basics Self-Harm: The Myths & the Facts | Embracing Balance

Keep in mind the brain is easily triggered into concussion and someone can sustain permanent brain damage.

If you are this challenged that you lose control, have you considered having the emergency team set up to help you or med therapy to help stabilize the emotions?

Hello WillowElf: This is something the Skeezyks has had a problem with. I don't know how you stop. Hopefully the article CANDC linked you to was helpful. I stopped once I had managed to do myself permanent physical harm. There are multiple dangers lurking within this practice. Concussion is one. But also Meniere's Disease & tinnitus (ringing in the ears) & also eye problems such as detached retinas. So I would really like to encourage you to seek the help you need in order to overcome your self-harming. I send warm thoughts your way with the hope that you will be able to find healing.
