Hi, I live with my brother in law and sister. My brother in law doesn't understand me. I'm kind of a loner and he is the opposite, he's a retired marine as a matter of fact. He starts harassing me when I'm home about how I'm doing and why don't I talk to anyone. I do talk, not a lot. I'm just not that talkative and there's a huge age difference, I'm 21 and he's in his late 40's. I feel like I have to constantly defend myself. I don't have things to talk about with him, he intimidates me and says he's just worried about me is all because I'm moving into my own apartment soon. It is really making me want to cut, I haven't in a very long time but I am upset right now. It's hard because it's a 3 day weekend and he's the only one home right now. I move into my apartment on Wednesday.

I was feeling so good until this

Well, it's been about 20 minutes. I used this site to distract me and the urge has gone away. Really that's the hardest part, getting through the first 10-20 minutes of the intense feeling and resisting acting on impulse as an immediate reaction. I'm proud of myself actually

Moving can be stressful. Stress makes me upset and intensifies how I am feeling. You coped the best way you knew how.

Why would the government come after you?

Hi, sorry that the stress got to you so badly, but the moment you've been long waiting for is finally here, now you have the excuses to tell him to give you more space. Have fun in your new nest!

I'm sorry you felt the need to hurt yourself. But good for you for moving into your own place. I just hope that having space will be a good thing for you and not something that gives you the space to hurt yourself more because people won't be around to watch you.

Do you see a T?
