I had a idea for something to si instead of si but want to know if it's a good thing to do instead of si or if it's a bad thing and counts as si.
I got some pan scrubbers (scourers) without the soft pad bit on them and they're not the ones with soap on them and want to know if using them to rub against my skin to imitate si will work and if it's something worth trying? If they scratch , won't they leave marks? Does it cause pain, to me it would be SI.

I haven't tried it yet so I don't know, I wouldn't have thought they'd draw blood or actually hurt, they'd cause discomfort yes I think but I don't think they'd cause actual pain. I could be wrong. I was thinking of trying it next time I get the urge to si.

I don't think you were wrong to post this thread. You are creatively trying alternatives which is a good thing. But why not just scrub some pots!? I'm just joking with you! Because I find doing dishes painful. I think if you try this experiment with light strokes and not too much pressure. I mean I don't know because this is not a problem for me. But keep thinking creatively! ![]()

you were not wrong. I guess I just did not know how hard you plan on rubbing. Let us know what the results are if you come to doing this for advoidance.
