Last night I was feeling pretty crappy. I was taking to a friend on aim when she told my fiancee's profile read that he was looking for dating, relationships with women to contact him for more information. I look at his profile something I've never done and sure enough that's what it said. I went and got a nail file and traced the veins in my arm until the skin was raw. Is this self injury or a suicide attempt? I'm not sure which is better at this point.

I'm sorry that it says that. It sounds more like self harm to me. I don' know how long he has been your fiance for. But maybe he doesn't look at his profile much and forgot to change it from before he met you. I think you should talk to him about it - not in a confronting way, just asking about it. After all, it may be up there completely unintentionally.

The aim accout was made about 8 months ago. We've been engaged since Feburary 11, 2003.

Perhaps it was up as a joke, as a dare?
