Ok, so I'm really struggling with cut urges today. Please help me get through this. I've been 38 days with no cutting and am not ready to give up.
TIA
Sandra

Hey sandra! Dont do that. You are doing so well. I did my latest stint a month ago. Still healing from the cuts. You are so far off right now. what good will it do? NOTHING!!!! I understand the feeling/cravings you are having. But you have got to take control. take a walk. run your hands under ice cold water. and keep us updated ok?

Best,
Colleen

38 days is great - be proud of them and remember everything you got through without cutting. And think distractions - go for a walk, write out how you're feeling. Scribble on a blank piece of paper, tear things up. snap a rubber band against your wrist. And remember an urge is just an urge - it will pass eventually.

I hope you have been able to resist harming yourself. If it will help there is a sticky at the top of the forum of things to do if you are having urges to hurt yourself. Maybe you can find some ideas there.

Thanks all. I managed to get through the weekend without self harming. It was tough, and I'm still struggling. But I'm sitting here on day 41 of no self harm.
