ty silver. for now i have switched into one that can get through better and has not been as effected by the destructives. i still have not heard from t... good thing i was not counting on her. that's why we have the system... it is doing it's job.

i am going to a friend's house for dinner and dying eggs so i will be off line until late (so no one worries).

T called while i was at my friends. "I got your email and I am very concerned!" I was able to talk a bit more than I usually can on the phone. But i don't think i was "me"... i can't remember what t said! Something about how she can't get to the core issues because those parts block her and make it dangerous for the body... but she wants to be able to get me to a better spot. said she'd have her phone on if i need to call.

I am so happy your t called and you got a chance to talk to her. Sometimes healing is a longer journey than first anticipated and priorities set for what issues are most important at the time. I am sure you and t will work that out. Please stay safe and keep in close contact with her.

Interesting- BB, that's the second time you've said exactly what t said.
I wrote t an email when i got home thanking her for the call and explaining more as i know more (things get translated from within out to me) and she sent one back saying "stay in touch, in close contact".
Lyn- i try to believe that.

It was good =) i have to get it in my brain that she's not as scary as I think - that therapy is not this big freaky dungeon where bad little kids get sent for torture. That I won't get pulled apart limb from limb, or the world won't come down around me just because i talked (as I was led to believe by my abuser). I still shook internally the entire time (as well as the hour before and after), but really, she wants to help me. Thanks, Lyn.
