I hate reaching out to ppl. It never turns out right. I told my old therapist that I had cutt again. She seemed supportive and told me to call her to set up an appointment. I did and have gotten no call back in several days. I would think she would be more responsive after knowing ive been having problems. I wasnt calling to bug her.. just to make an appointment.

Im in this new town and I have no friends and i just hate it. I hate it so much. I havent felt this depressed in a long time. Im sad b/c my parents won't come to visit me for thanksgiving.... my mentor dumpted me (long story.. shes a bit crazy... but still it hurts)

I just feel like.. there is nobody who truely cares.. Not like the care that some of us give to each other on here. Not that it is bad.. sorry... dont get me wrong.. but i mean that kind of person who if they don't hear from you, reaches out.. and if you reach out to them, they are there. UGH. I think i am very dissappointed in life.. So ignore alot of what im saying.

I'm just frustrated. Please pray for me.

hey, you have friends here. Make your own traditions, what do you like and what would you like to share for thanksgiving for others. Could be volunteering, could be a hike. We have a tradition of making hubby cook and trying to find snow for sledding. If my son is not able to be with us on this day we will go out to eat and try to find snow. You fit into your life the way you make it.

Reaching out to people is hard. You never know if it is going to go the way you want it to or not, and it hurts when it doesn't. But what counts are the times when it works and you connect with somebody, and you have a new friend. I learned to do that electronically before I really could practice it in person. Maybe hanging around here with us could be good practice for you. Don't forget to keep trying to reach out in real life though. It's worth it if you even find one person who cares, and they are out there. Remember, we're all out there too, and if we can connect here, there are many more potential friends out there in 3D.

Love,
Wendy
