its too hard- this is the only way i know of coping with the pain-im trying ...

Trying is great! Look how positive that was--it wasn't "I'm failing" but it was "I'm trying" and that is a big, big step! What can we do to keep you trying? Tell us about your halloween plans or about what the weather is like there. Lets take your mind somewhere else for a few minute.

find a blanket, a hot water bottle... curl up and talk on here... breath slow

If you're at work, go fill a cup with hot water and hold onto it. Remember to think of the good things. We are all here with you, holding you and trying to help you stay safe. Take those deep breaths and close your eyes. Take that cup of hot water and lay your wrist against it and feel the warmth flow through you.

it hurts to breathe its hurts to do anything- the pain the guilt im so ashamed of my life and how i deal with things- why does it have to be like this im trying to fight it off but its there and its real and the urge to cut is so much apart of me-

the urge to cut is not a part of you the urge to cut is part of your depression... that is not you! that's something that's trying to control your feelings and life and you can't let it win.

Call your t and tell her. She cares and wants to help you. Make sure you are breathing slowly and holding it in for a second or two. It's time to give the guilt you feel your butterfly wings--let it fly away, you stay and learn to live happy. Your guilt has had its time with you, now is time for hope, faith and happiness. Slowly they will come. Let the guilt go.

Like Molly said, hon, it's not who you are, it's how you've coped with bad things. Let the warmth flow through you, calm you and help you set the guilt loose from your body and soul.
