I am in search of self injury songs.
Maybe I am weird or something, but sometimes when I am triggered I can listen to self injury songs and somehow it helps.

I can relate to this. When its all I can think about, I stick my music on and listen to the songs that I can relate to the most and it releases some of my emotions somehow. Just to name a few;

Amy Studt - Testify
Between the trees - The way she feels
Smile Empty soul - Self inflicted
Plumb - cut
Papa Roach - Last resort

and Kelly Clarkson's sober also is on one of my lists aswell, not written about self injury, but I sure can relate

Hope it helps

Live/Die by the Sword - Jamestown Story (formerly "And Then I Turned Seven")
Life's a Slice - Forever Means Never

Both bands are pretty "indie" so it might be hard to track them down.

Edit: And no, you're not strange at all. I do the same thing sometimes. Actually my friend got me both of these songs because he knew they'd likely help me out if I wanted to SI. So you're not alone.

"Addicted" by Kelly Clarkson... I don't think it wasn't written about SI... but I think the lyrics can really fit SI...

It's like you're a drug
It's like you're a demon I can't face down
It's like I'm stuck
It's like I'm running from you all the time
And I know I let you have all the power
It's like the only company I seek is misery all around
It's like you're a leech
Sucking the life from me
It's like I can't breathe
Without you inside of me
And I know I let you have all the power
And I realize I'm never gonna quit you over time

It's like I can't breathe
It's like I can't see anything
Nothing but you
I'm addicted to you
It's like I can't think
Without you interrupting me
In my thoughts
In my dreams
You've taken over me
It's like I'm not me
It's like I'm not me

It's like I'm lost
It's like I'm giving up slowly
It's like you're a ghost that's haunting me
Leave me alone
And I know these voices in my head
Are mine alone
And I know I'll never change my ways
If I don't give you up now

It's like I can't breathe
It's like I can't see anything
Nothing but you
I'm addicted to you
It's like I can't think
Without you interrupting me
In my thoughts
In my dreams
You've taken over me
It's like I'm not me
It's like I'm not me

I'm hooked on you
I need a fix
I can't take it
Just one more hit
I promise I can deal with it
I'll handle it, quit it
Just one more time
Then that's it
Just a little bit more to get me through this
I'm hooked on you
I need a fix
I can't take it
Just one more hit
I promise I can deal with it
I'll handle it, quit it
Just one more time
Then that's it
Just a little bit more to get me through this

It's like I can't breathe
It's like I can't see anything
Nothing but you
I'm addicted to you
It's like I can't think
Without you interrupting me
In my thoughts
In my dreams
You've taken over me
It's like I'm not me
It's like I'm not me.

Well, these may not be intended as self injury songs, but as an ex-self harmer [fingers crossed it stays that way] and total music lover, I can identify.

Bad Before Good - Day One
Paper Bag - Fiona Apple
Bleed Like Me - Garbage
Queen of Pain - Alkaline Trio
Razorblade - Blue October
Magician's Assistant - Scroobius Pip
If you can't leave it be, might as well make it bleed - Dashboard Confessional
Little House - The Fray
When I am Queen - Jack Off Jill
A few small bruises - Maria Mena

There are quite a few sites with collections of lyrics, found via Google.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does this. I usually just listen to Evanescence. Gotta be careful thought or they'll drag me down too far.
