I have been doing very well at not hurting myself the last few weeks. But even though I am not conciously doing anything I have been finding more and more mysterious bruises. They are all over my body. I just don't remember how I could have gotten any of them. What is up with this?

Have you figured out anything about the mysterious bruises yet? Is it possible that you got them from gardening or doing something like that and just didn't notice?
I'm finding stuff that I can't explain on me too. There is a bruise on my left knee that DH noticed and asked me about and I didn't even know it was there, but I probably got it legitimately and just don't remember. But then there are all these little scars I am noticing, mostly on the backs of my hands and fingers, and I don't know how I got them. Am I crazier than I thought I was? <font color=purple>"You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try."</font color=purple>

I posed the question to my T in a letter. I hope he has an answer for me when I see him next. I am wondering if I am concentrating so hard at not doing these things that I am losing touch with my body. My body just doesn't detect as much sensation because the emotional turmoil has all my attention so I am not being as careful as a person would normally be.

i've had that problem all my life. i recently asked my gp about it and he said some people have "capillary fragility," which i guess just means that some people bruise very easily. he didn't seem concerned about it at all.

Both of these are good thoughts though I can rule them both out. I sleep like a stone. When I get up the bed is still darn near perfectly made. As for bruising easily, I can take a fairly good hit before getting a bruise. I have been pretty rough and tumble all my life and if it was a fragility problem I would be one very large bruise. That is why it bothers me so much. I know how hard I need to get hit in order to bruise. One of the bruises is on my stomach which to me is a very odd place for a bruise considering the cushioning there. I mean shins are easy to bruise because the bone is so close to the skin but with the stomach it is a bit harder.
