I'm so tempted to cut right now. My ex left his box cutter blades at my house and I just now found them this morning..... really wanting to pick one up and cut. Maybe I should just throw them away, but I know if I do that I'll eventually go back and get them. What should I do with them? This really sucks, I should have never started this. It was my stupid mistake thats caused me so much pain and trouble. I'm really afraid to tell my parents about my urges because I certainly dont want to be sent to another mental institution. Luckily, I have you guys here to help and support me! Anybody have any suggestions?

Maybe you should tell your parents? You definately won't go into a mental institution because you cut yourself, so dont be afraid to get help because your worried about that.. It's entirely your choice, but please please dont cut.. otherwise you'll end up like me with cuts on your arm.. and it's a terrible mistake to make! |

I think that it would be of great help if you take the blades to a dumpster like one at a plaza. You should put them there because if you don't and you put them inside of your gargbage or give them to someone else, you are more likely to get them back or buy them again. By putting them in such a large dumpster, you will not want to crawl back in through the hole and try to get them when they are swimming in a mass pool of garbage.
Just a suggestion PM me anytime or just keep in touch for the suppport, sending you hugs ![]() ~ ![]()

My suggestion is, if they aren't too big, flush them out, immediately.
That saved me in more than one occasion. Good luck and as beutifulxdreamr said, you have the power. |

I agree, get rid of them.

To answer your question LFC555, yes I've been cutting for about 6 years now, so this is nothing new. And yeah my parents found out about the cutting around 3 years after I first started, so they have known for a while. Like I said, I was doing really well for a while, but my depression and anxiety are worse than they were before. I will take yall's advice and throw them out. Thanks everybody!
