If you are concerned about your heart you have to get a coronary calcium scan. It is a cheap and low radiation CT scan of your heart that will tell you how much actual blockages you have. I had one at 50 and after a lifetime of high cholesterol the score was zero. There is a movie free on you tube called "the widowmaker" Gillian Anderson is the narrator.

Doctors and nurses share the things patients should never do
Interesting article. I think I knew all of these, though. What I don't understand is why being late is a terrible issue. I think most docs give people fifteen minutes. I can see why it might be a problem if the patient comes a lot later, though. |

It's interesting, when I moved to my farm 17 years ago I had problems figuring out what word I needed to use in a sentence. Got rid of the stress I had when I moved (still stress just not 24/7). Farm has lots of heavy work naturally, & settling into a whole new place & meeting new people, having quiet time to read & study. I often think how much easier getting my degree would have been if I had been in the mental state I am in now vs then. I remember when my mom used to say "when you get older you quit learning". So glad she was wrong like usual cause my mind learns much easier now than when I was younger

The Truth About Walking Workouts: 9 Myths and Facts
Glad to see some of these dealt with. My brother-in-law thought he had to walk 10, 000 steps a day, to the point where he was obsessive. |

At the longevity seminar (conducted by PhD scientists), were told that 5500 steps would be enough to reap longevity benefits. So, a figure that is a little different than what is mentioned in this article. __________________ Bipolar I w/psychotic features Last inpatient stay in 2018 Geodon 40 mg Seroquel 75 mg Lybalvi 5 mg as a PRN Gabapentin 1200 mg, Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects) Long term side effects from medications some of them discontinued: - hypothyroidism - obesity Suspected narcolepsy Treated with Ritalin 5mg |

I don’t if my voice changed because, alas, I get little opportunity to even talk to anyone. And when I do for a length of time I need a bit of water. It’s bad enough that my skin sags and I have deep bags under my eyes apparently age related. I’m 62 not 92. They make me look older and ill even. Eye serums, chilled spoons pressed on them, hemorrhoidal cream (this works on temporary bags, such as those from poor sleep), nothing works.

I like to think of wrinkles, sags and other wonders of maturity as a tapestry that life makes out of us.
All these young folks with smooth, unblemished skin envy us! Okay, now seriously, I was at a college open house with my daughter. And a young woman with blue hair was in the buffet line with us, so I mentioned to her that I had blue hair a few months ago because of a promise I made with my daughter that if she got an A in math, I'd dye my hair green. But hair dye isn't made for folks with white hair -- it assumes that the bleach will leave the hair yellow -- so the color is mostly blue. Anyway, she says that she wished she could find a way to get her hair white (like mine). Is your hair white like mine? Imagine what a miracle that is! You can't pay to get that done! __________________ Major Depressive Disorder; Sleep Apnea; possibly on the spectrum Nuvigil 50mg; Effexor 37.5mg; meds for blood pressure & cholesterol |

Alas my hair will probably never be white or silver. Mum was still dark at almost 95, and my sisters hair is still Sandy at 77 so no matter how old I get I will only have the white threads that replaced the reds, the rest of my hair will probably be brown. I also look 15 years younger than my age. I always could fool the carnival guesser.

It got too costly and too much trouble. I let it grow. My hairdresser said that young women pay a lot to get what I have naturally. If they can wait 40 years they’d get it from nature. Anyway my hairdresser said they couldn’t recreate my colors. People compliment me yet I hate it and think I look old. The bags don’t help. ——— Sent from my iPhone __________________ Call me "owl" for short! Hmmm....looks like some good tips in here. "Okay, enough photos. The interest in white hair is because maybe there's a popular character in a manga series.
