You know how every kid doesn't want to think about his mother ever having had sex?
Well... sometimes kids shouldn't be so nosy and they won't get the shock of their lives. In a time long, long ago when I was a bit more frisky my then boyfriend and I put a videocamera on a tripod and I put on my little Britney Spears schoolgirl skirt and... and then we had a good time. On videotape. So I hid the videotape in my closet along with the generic porn and sex toys and stuff like that. Then I forgot about it pretty much. The boyfriend is gone. I have gained weight and can't fit into the skirt. Not really much reason I would want to view the video at the current time. And then... My now twenty year old son tells me this week that when he was a bit younger, sometime in his teens, he was snooping in my closet and found not only the "professional" porn tapes but the one starring his mom. Oh. My. God. He said he thought he was going to go blind. I laughed hysterically telling him it was his own fault for being a snoop and he is saying, Mom, I want to erase that from my mind. Poor kid. Serves him right though. Should I laugh or feel sorry for him? I keep doing both!

You know...To this day, though I've tried, I still can't visualize my parents having intimate fun..though actually seeing them on tape would prove they had (aside from the fact of having 10 kids), I think I prefer to stick with just the failed attempt of visualizing.....lol. Shangrala

Thats hilarious. If he doesn't want to see that then he shouldn't go looking! Did you ask what he was looking for when he found the tape? Probably the same thing you were hiding haha That's why I don't go in my mom's closet

I know how you are feeling..... my oldest son has always been the snoop in the house and he has come across my "pink pillow of pleasure" and a few pics of a certain part of the lower body I took on the computer to email to my husband....
 When I found out I said OH WELL and went about my way, as sex is natural and at 25 years old I do believe he knows his parents still has sex (and) heck I even got a surprise when I answered his cell phone one day (lets just say my little boy is all grown up) - - - so I would say we are even.

I'm curious.
How do children compensate when they see a parent having sex, and especially when it is not with their other parent. I know level of maturity comes into play, and especially if they are in a stable sexual relationship themselves. But what about those impressionable ones who aren't ? Does it matter ? |

Sex tapes are usually made in the guise of "having fun," unless they're done secretly against one, both or all participants. Once made, they're not easy to un-make, especially in this world of Internet and sharing. I personally don't think anyone should be ashamed of making such tapes, as long as it's consenting adults (and consenting teens might make them, too, but I'd advise not to, since it's illegal; however, teens are more apt to create such tapes, being young and naive and sometimes "in love"). But you can't be surprised if they get out. Even if you wish you hadn't, just accept it and don't let people get you down about it. Those people giving you a hard time are probably freakier than you! LOL!

This thread takes me back about fourteen years when our oldest son (11 years old then) asked my husband and I (one morning) if we wouldn't mind shutting our bedroom door at night and when I asked him why.... he said because you and dad are to loud when you are having sex, making love to each other - lol lol OMG lol lol.
... his younger brother second the notion. I jokingly said "just put a pillow over your head" and he replied "we tried, but it didn't work" |
