I know the title is probably gonna keep some of ya'll from reading this, but I feel like I need to post this, for no other reason than I dont feel normal. Today, for the first time ever, I watched genuine "regular" porn. I had looked at the sort of softcore stuff up until now, but now, for some reason, I feel better just for doing it. I feel more human for some reason. Is this normal? Should I be feeling this way? I mean, I'm 26 years old, and I've never seen "genuine" porn, until tonight, idk why, but that made me feel like a freak, for some reason. Should I have been feeling this way?

I'm not sure.

I always feel guilty when I look at porn. ^.^;

But on the other hand, sexuality is a normal part of being a human... so there could be a feeling of normality in doing something most people have done.

I don't think you did anything wrong. Whether or not you watch porn, I don't think that fact defines you as a freak. As long as it doesn't become some crazy obsession or something, I don't see any harm in watching it.

Maybe you feel like this was some sort of rite of passage you had to go through?

Some people watch it but, I have very strong feeling against it. I have never been a fan of it, I have viewed it a couple of times in my adult live and it has had no effect on me other than to make me angry about the explotation of women.

I detest it and am against it. I wouldn't want to see any of my female friends, or family involved in it. It is a hugh money maker for perverts and it is not right in my opinion.

You sound as Normal as Normal can be... and as a male you probably received some sort of deep emotional satisfaction from what you viewed, hence the feeling of being normal... many men use sex/porn to heal with.

And then there is the guilt that follows for so many after viewing porn - you have to decide "for your self" if this sexual practice is for you or not... no one else can make the decision for you.
