Is there such a thing as too much sex? not a moment goes by without my mind going to something sexual. Even if I'm in a "normal" conversation, i turn all of the phrases into something sexual.

i didn't used to, but i do now see how each person would look naked.

Perhaps I'm really going crazy and out of control. And I keep thinking of how I can end all of these thoughts, but I'm not supposed to talk about that kind of thing here.

is it normal to be thinking of sex ALL the time?

I did some research on the net and most of it said men think about it every 7 seconds but one site said this is a myth and it happens every 2 minutes. I think every second as you put it would be excessive. There's some disorders that would manifest as hyper sexual like the manic stage of bipolar, addiction to sex, obsessive thoughts etc. If this is more than usual and it's affecting your life in a negative way, then you should consult a therapist.

This is what the website said: "According to an intense Kinsey Institute study, the average man forms a thought about sex approximately every two minutes, and that he generally ponders the thought for about a minute, 50 seconds before letting go of it.

Years ago, my boyfriend asked a similar question to my therapist - except it was about masturbation. She replied that if it's getting in the way of your normal life, that's when it's too much. If you'd rather masturbate than going out with friends, or living your life fully in general, that's when it's too much. I'm not sure if that's similar enough to help, but it seems like practical advice. If these thoughts are interfering with your friendships (putting your friends off, or insulting them, etc) or even if they are just upsetting you, it may be time to seek guidance. But I've never been in a guys head, lol so this all might be perfectly normal!
Wishing you well

Ya i think its pretty normal to think about it a lot. I do But im a girl so.. but then again ive always been a over/sexual person... i think if you still have control over your life and its not effecting that, then thinking about it alot isnt a bad thing. Thats how i look at it.

I tend to agree with ein. if the thoughts aren't interferring with you normal daily routine, it doesn't seem too bad. I do think that vocalizing or acting on these thoughts usually leads to problems. I just say this because I've learned to keep my thoughts to myself to keep others from backing away. I personally don't think many people can handle the subjects in our minds
