I wasn't sure whether to put this in addiction or sexual and gender issues, sorry.
The more depressed and paranoid I get the less I have any interest, but if I have just a little to smoke I can easily get aroused and, forgive my crudeness, but an orgasm usually makes me relaxed for half a day or so which is a god send for the paranoia. Every day this week I've said it's the last day I'll smoke. So, how do you still get *cough* "in the mood" when your depressed and keyed up? ![]() |

Hi
I believe your referring to marijuana? I have heard it can increase libido but it may not be good in the long run to depend upon for helping reach orgasm. It's better to satisfy that need naturally better for your body and brain. Yes sex/orgasm can be a great stress-reliever which is true. Do you or have your tried meditation to help relax also? Do you see a T? Good luck. |

Hello. I agree with Purple Heart about meditation, and yoga is great as well. These are just some suggestions... I don't know if you are in a relationship, but if you are, maybe try watching erotic movies (that you can both agree on) with your partner? There are lots of erotic novels out there as well. Explore what turns you on while sober, with an open and honest attitude...even if it's something as simple as taking a bath together.
Good luck! |

Thank you both for your encouragement! I think I am becoming more aware that I may very much need to see someone. |

Also the M can intensify sensations. That's where munchies come from, uhmmm this cheese tastes sooo good. I don't believe it really creates any different reality than what's completely available to us.
In shamanistic tradition I studied, marijuana, despite it's definite psychoactive traits, is not considered even a teaching plant. It is classified as a catalyst plant, only capable of making stronger that which is already there. Sex is also a catalyst, so the two go together, I guess, lol But I guess what it means for you, is that your good sex is not a something the herb gave you, but merely revealed to you what's always been possible for you. |

![]() The "making stronger what is already there" could apply to it making hallucinations stronger now though. It doesn't seem like a good idea despite the intensifying sensation, at least for me, anymore. |
