I've always believed that love has no gender but Ive never experienced it to find out other than my theory, Ive never had an attraction to anything but me really. I don't know if Im just vain but is it possible to be in love with yourself?

I agree with Ygrec23 that it is unhealthy to feel love fo ryourself only, but some self-love is in fact required to be able to love others. It is of course also possible that you'r ejust aromantic, but you say clearly that you feel attracted to yourself and not others. That could indicate you have some kind of problem.
@Ygrec23: not meaning to be your teacher, but love can happen between more than two people. There are people who are polyamorous and that to me is not a disorder. You could disagree on that of course.

there was a greek god(?) from mythology who feel in love with his reflection, we have a word for it now but i can never spell it.
love for other people is painful, that's why some people can only love animals, children, themselves, etc. (my thoughts, of course). but the best hug you'll ever get, will always (in my opinion) come from another person. find friends to love, then feel their love and eventually you'll want love for everyone-it's addicting ![]() ![]() |
