I decided to write a journal bit on my Nazi fetish, explaining the difference between me and a real Nazi, why I feel that way, etc.

I wrote it for FetLife, a BDSM social networking site, and alot of people journal about their fetishes. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable posting it. What if someone important sees if they google it? I don't know who would, seeing as most jobs and family/friends dont know what FetLife is. But an entire page dedicated to my fetish? I don't know. I really want to, but I'm worried about who might see it.

What should I do with it?

Well, I think you're wise in not wanting to leave an e-paper trail. A LOT of employers will run a search or two before hiring you. You don't want to leave anything that doesn't fit with the Doc you present at an interview.

That being said, I'm not familiar with Fetlife, but are you using your actual name? If it can't be traced back to you via your real name or your screen name (ie if you're DrSkipper EVERYWHERE, and people know it), I don't see the problem. If it's traceable, then I may perhaps reconsider posting it, or at the least omit my name or adopt a false name. I understand Jane Doe is a very prolific writer on a vast field of subjects...

Dr Skipper is actually Dr Pepper's strange cousin. I goggled doctor skipper, it would be hard to find me, but I'm not sure if it's worth the risk to poor my heart out to strangers.

It isn't worth it And there is no need to. Or is there? And if so, why is there a need to?

I did post it on Fetlife. I am sure that it is anonymous enough to where I can post safely.

I can post it here, but not sure who would be interested in reading it.

I canceled my account on deviantart.

edit: Too many creepers when I posted pix, and I got self-conscious because I found a paper trail on google.

I wish I could find a way...I want to wear my uniform and feel proud and sexy, not guilty and dirty (in a bad way)

That's just going to be so difficult Doc. I know you aren't a Nazi and that this is just a thing for you that has no connection to what the real Nazi party stood for but... the Nazi symbolism is going to trigger some awful reactions and hurt. The real Nazis did unspeakably horrible things that are still felt 60 years later. And the spirit of Nazism lives on still. Nationalist/racist groups are back and growing in Europe and America. You just picked a bad group to fetish on... or it picked you.
I understand your situation though. Early Hollywood was always a real turnon for me. There's no stylish uniforms or charismatic leaders but the kink and allure are there. The Roman era was pretty cool too. Charismatic (crazy) leaders and all the kink and glamour you could ask for without all the baggage of the Nazis.
And togas are pretty cool... I'm sure you'd look great in one
Take care

Fetlife won't leave a paper trail as far as I know, me and bf both have profiles with pur real pictures up, you can't view any profiles or anyhing without an account. And if someone you know has an account there then they aren't going to call you out for it because they have something they don't want called out either I have googled mine and bf's profile names from there to double check and nothing shows up, even when I add Fetlife to the search along with our usernames. I think you are safe with Fetlife for sure, they are pretty hush hush and realize most people on that site don't want everyone to know their business because they have families and careers.
