This could apply to dream interpretation, but last night was the second time I had a sexual dream about my lesbian coworker. I'm currently pursuing a straight male coworker I'm crushing on. However, he only comes to my location once or twice a week, and sometimes he doesn't come at all, and when he's here, he's too caught up in his paperwork to notice me and conversations are very short and monotonous.

I've never had feelings for the other coworker because I've never had interest in having sex with women. However in my dream I enjoyed having sex with her. And she is the opposite of the guy I am crushing on--she is lively and is an amazing coworker to work with and loves chatting with everyone.

I'm currently confused with my orientation, though I don't like to label myself: I believe my sexuality will always be changing, even though my orientation stays the same.

Any interpretations on why I'm fantasizing about my lesbian coworker and not the coworker I'm crushing on? Thanks.

I don't know much about dream interpretation but I also strongly believe that sexuality is fluid and not always black and white.

I would sit down and work out, while awake, who you are drawn to. It may be more an issue of personality thsn gender.

Well, dream interpretation isn't my forte either, but perhaps you're more attracted to her personality than you are the guy's, and maybe that's a factor? You seem more pleased with how she acts towards you than you do about him. It might not, as mazing said, be so much gender/sexual as it is personality based.

It makes sense, I'm just so frustrated with him. I watched him spend a half hour today chatting about guy stuff with one of his volunteers, but later would hardly respond to me when asking about how his day is and how work is going. Maybe try asking him stuff that isn't about work?

It's been a couple weeks since I've posted, but not much has improved. He ignores my "just saying hi" texts and our conversations are very minimal, monotone and awkward. I've been having problems with my classroom leader and she tends to dump her problems on him, so now I'm worried that she's been telling him negative things about me.

I still fantasize about him, and I still really want to get to know him. What do I do to get his attention?
