Avoice, I have seen you around a lot and you have a really serious ED - right? Do you also self-harm? Does the avatar show a big scar on your leg, or am I imagining things?

Just to point out that a serious ED is life-threatening while being bisexual in modern day Texas is not... thanks god.

Not that you are in any way wrong feeling that you need help for this realization, but, in the grand scheme of things, it does not sound like something horrifying.

Oh yes that is a big scar. It's all I have left of three foot surgeries correcting tendoms, bone spurs, floating bones, they even pulled a grown lesions from my tendoms...it looked like a jumbo shrimp weighing 7 oz. They even removed a knuckle from my 2nd toes to make it even with mybig toe. Now it won't bend. Want to hear more ? They cut on me every year...hands feet, spine (upper & lower ) stomach....been bed-ridden, bound to a wheel chair, special potty arrangements, shower chair, back remedies like patches, shock treatment, spinal cord stimulator. You name it I have gone thru it and I have the scars and bills to prove it. Pain? I am in pain every single day....no exceptions. My day starts with "how am I going to treat this enormous pain ? No ....I do not self harm. My ailments, doctors do it for me....hope that answers your question.

gentle hugs...my fiercely pained; yet wonderfully witty friend.

Not surprising to me that so many who are in the depths of pain and tragedy are often the most sharply humorous and wonderful people.

Why I always care about my friend who is not "bi" at all...but is a source of great silliness.

Avoice, it sure does. I am sorry if I offended you making an assumption that you SI - it is just that a lot of people on here do, with ED or without ED thrown into the mix for a good measure. I am sorry to hear you have been subjected to so much invasive surgery and are in daily pain.
