anyone ever dream of ufo's or have them pop into a dream. I did last night, it was horrible and vivid. No aliens, but just the craft. Woke-up trying to move and scream but could not!

Oh, yes, I've had a number of dreams with UFO's. I've even had one where the aliens came out of the UFO and started trick-or-treating at all the houses on my street.

I haven't had UFO's, just lots of spies and mafia-types, LOL. Did you watch a UFO TV show last night or read something? I was watching a "First time buyer" home show on HGTV, I think it was, and a couple women really didn't like some bathroom and that bathroom with its colors and what I would do with it, as if it were mine, were in my dreams last night all night!

I will sometimes watch or read that stuff, but I hadn't seen or read anything when I had that dream; I'm not sure what brought it on. Not one of the strangest dreams I've had but certainly one of the funniest.

Yeah, but what happened after makes me think I may have been enduring an episode of psychotic depression. I had other dreams after which were just dreams though.

It sounds like you were in a state of sleep paralysis. That can be really scary the first few times (my first experience was when I was just a kid). However, knowing what it is can help a lot. It takes a moment before you can move again, but movement will always return. Also, it's not abnormal to see things in this state. That happens to normal people, so I wouldn't consider it a symptom of psychosis if it happens.

My trick to getting out of it is to focus on my breathing. You'll always still be breathing, since it's automatic. But you can take control over it if you like. So I'd start controlling my breathing, then move to other things. My boyfriend starts with a finger. After you control one thing, the rest is cake.

i forgot i posted here. well anyway, i dont remember now. i have read about sleep paralysis so i know about that. I dont know what made this dream, but from dream research and what on tv, the brain pickups snipets of information from memory and puts them together to make dreams.
