What do u think my dream means?

I had a dream i was locked in a dark cupboard talking to myself for hours, i found a light switch and turned it on to find there was a man in the cupboard with me! I jumped and woke up!

That's certainly an interesting dream. I'm not entirely sure what it means, it might make more sense if, in the dream, you were talking to someone to find that they're not there. I might be able to interpret that as a fear of being alone or something like that.

Perhaps there's something that you don't want to share with others, or there's a dark place in your mind and you're afraid that something else is there...

here's a guess: the things you tell yourself privately you think are coming from you but really they are coming from someone else, this man. at first you were in the dark and you didn't realize you were being influenced by this man but then you "woke up to it" so to speak.
