I'd like to know if anyone has successfully been able to induce lucid dreaming, and if there are any suggested techniques that could work?

Try Dreammoods.com for tips on Lucid dreaming, because any tips I would give you on inducing lucid dreaming would be from that very site.
The best technique would be practice, and if you have almost have a successful result, try to figure out if you did anything differently and apply that again. May I ask why you want to induce lucid dreaming? Cause I've tried it myself before, and I actually don't get as good sleep when I do, also the dreams take a rather boring turn. Haha.. Good luck! |

I've naturally had lucid dreams from time to time since i was a little kid. But when I was on cymbalta for a bit I had them non stop until the description on when to take the med changed.
The site Detia mentions is a great site too ![]()

Quote:
The aim of every dream is some degree of lucidity and waking. I have studied lucid dreaming and read a lot about it. Dreams are an important part of lifes nocturnal control systems and your subconscious would not allow you to interfer with it. If you're hell - bent on trying to control your dreams your subconscious might, on occasions humour you with dreaming you're lucid dreaming. On most occasions you become bored and go to sleep or wake up. It is like trying to swim just under the water; you have to surface for air every so often and get tired of trying! |
