Have any of you noticed that certain medications affect dreaming? For example, when I was on Seroquel I would have such powerful, vivid dreams in great detail that I would sometimes have to puzzle a bit the next day to decide if it was real or just a dream. That was weird. But the dreams were quite interesting!

Yes, medications can certainly affect dreams. That's part of why "shamans" may use drugs to help get into a dream state, have a certain type of dream, etc.

I just started taking Lamictal for epilepsy and have been having at least 2-3 sexual dreams a week. I don't really feel 'in the mood' throughout the day any more than normal. But man.....these dreams are WEIRD! Luckily they have all involved my boyfriend haha

This is strange. My doc put me on Prazosin, which is a pill for hypertention but I take it for nightmares.

Yes! I have noticed my dreams are very weird since I started on the neurotin. Thank goodness my doctor is taking me off of it. Those weird dreams really get to you after a while!

Yup
![]() When i was on Cymbalta i had lucid dreams- got tiring after a while, because i was still awake within my dreams, and my mind wasn't getting any rest. lol! When i'm on vyvanse, I tend to have the most wacky and bizarre dreams.. and sometimes not even having dreams (that i can remember).

I don't usually have many dreams. But Zopiclone is bad news for me. While I'm on it, I tend to sleep realy deep without dreams, but once I stop it, I have terrible nightmares, and have even lashed out and hit my boyfriend in my sleep.
On Tuesday night I started to grind my teeth again. Ironically it was the first time i'd taken Zopiclone in a while. And the whole night I still kept arguing with my boyfriend that I WASN'T grinding my teeth. I heard the noise, but really didn't believe it was teeth grinding. oh well....
