I was hurrying home on a bike in the town I live in and my fiance was riding on the back standing on pegs. I think we were rushing home to see a movie and it was very, very important to me that I not miss it. When we got there, I was both watching the movie and also living it from inside the TV. I guess I should mention Jack Nicholson was co-starring (I promise, I'm not making this up), but all he really did was pop up and laugh sinisterly here and there.
Anyways there was a daisy chain of faceless people reaching inside each others heads. I somehow understood that they were stealing each other's thoughts and ideas. I then took a faceless man into my arms and put a gun into his head (the barrel somewhere in the middle of his brain). I know I intended to shoot, but I don't think I saw it. I also didn't see the people pulling anything out of anyone's brain, just the act of reaching in, but I understood what was to happen.
Then there was an odd sort of sad jewelry box-esque melody playing lightly as we all fell to the ground and were suddenly dolls. I watched the credits roll and I saw myself watching them roll at the same time and was deeply unsettled by all of it.
Well that was that. Any ideas or input?

Wow, that is one strange and detailed dream.

I don't believe in the whole "dreams have meanings" thing. I think sometimes they can, but I think it's more when someone from the other side (someone who has passed) visits you, which I think is possible. In fact, I had one last night that my friend (who passed away in FEB) was in. I felt like he was visiting me.

I don't really know why you would have a dream quite like this, but are you on any medication, and if so what kind? You could be thinking that the medicine you are on is trying to take away your thoughts and turn you into a zombie (by zombie I mean mindless not the Hollywood kind) which is something a lot of people on anti-depressants feel. I am not sure though. It is definitely a strange dream and you'd probably do better talking to a professional, your therapist maybe? If you have one?

Other than that I don't have much to offer but that is definitely one strange dream. Also, did you happen to watch a movie that day? Could have explained the credits and stuff.

Hope I helped some!

I'm pretty interested in the science of dreams because I frequently have bizarre and detailed dreams like this. I'm not sure what I believe though as far as if they mean anything or not though.
I'm not on any medications or anything, but it could be trying to tell me something similar. Maybe that I don't feel like I can be myself around people? Or something?
I have it written down and plan to discuss it with my therapist once I'm done with the evaluation process they have me going through right now.
Thanks so much for the feedback!

It could mean an issue your subconscious is occupied with, or random thoughts from the previous day, or a mix of the two with a dash of random. It sounds like a very beautiful dream though, I would love it if it could be made into a short surreal film...

Thats what my brother said. I actually painted a scene from it. It was definitely an interesting dream to experience.
