Can't answer why, but I dream about being at work a lot. Like waitressing and not being able to get to all my tables, or being a nurse and unable to get to all my patients. To me my work dream are the anxiety type - usually a fear of being incompetent secondary to my MI. I'm afraid people will find out i have a MI if i'm not perfect.

Dreams tend to reflect life in ways we are not seeing or understanding clearly, to help us be "whole". I use to have bizarre dreams when I was really anxious waking; I came to understand that I was "crazy" in my dreams so I could cope in my waking life. Think about it; a dream can "confirm" what is going on in your life or play the devil's advocate :-) Compare your dreams with what you are consciously thinking about, doing, or feeling during your waking time.
